I thought you might like to see our little garden visitor, she's a lovely dark rabbit called Jasmine who lives next door, she often pops into our garden has a nibble at the flowers and then bounces off home, lol! We're very fond of her, and it's lovely to have a rabbit in the garden again:)
I've posted some pics of our lovely little bunny Barley who sadly died a couple of years ago :( but thought you may like to see him too, he was sooooo cute!
Ooooh and I popped in a pic of Murphy our ginger tom, I thought he looked very cute snoozing his troubles away, it's a hard life hey? lol!
Yesterday, I decided it was time to take action (in my quest to loose some unwanted flab!) so went for a power walk, lol! Well, I walked fast and all up hill too! that's about as powerful as it gets, lol!
Later I again did the same walk (at a slower pace) to collect my kids from school. Well, I have to say, I think it did me the power of good, I felt pooped by 8pm and amazingly enough for me, went to bed at 8.30pm! Gosh! I'm normally such a night owl, but boy do I feel good this morning :) and better still, no late night snacking, hurray!!!!
Anyway, I thought you might like to take a peek at the all the cakes my son Zach who's nine made for his class cake sale. They hope to raise enough money to buy a class pet! They were each asked to bake ten cakes each, but Zach is sooo keen he made a just a few more, lol!
I've only recently discovered the joy of ATC's. Which began this year when I took part in an ATC swap on the Do Crafts website. So far I have made one for each month with a different theme, and have also received some wonderful cards too.
As I'm on a bit of crafting roll at the moment, I decided to have a rumage through my stash boxes, and see what treasures I could find to make up some of my own.
I thought I'd try out the vintage look and came across some beautiful vintage rub on images with a touch of sparkle, so decided to give it a whirl, and am delighted with the results. It's a great way to use up lots of your scrap paper too :)
My children collect football and Dr.Who cards, and at this rate it looks like I'll be joining them with my own little collection too now, lol!
Recently on the Do Crafts Forum I set a challenge to decorate a matchbox and fill with lots of scrummy embellishments and then send to your swap partner.
We had a wonderful response and eighteen of us took part. So I hope to run it again soon!
My swap partner was Alyson, but I also made one for Sophie (Alyson's daughter)and another one for Tinks, as she also wanted to join in, but as the partner list had already gone out, she ended up with me, lol!
I really enjoyed this swap and Alyson has also sent me the most amazing vintage style box too, thank you Alyson!
Anyway, here's what I came up with, I hope you like them :)
I hope you enjoy looking through my blog. I love all things crafty, and adore playing with paper. My latest obsession is my sewing machine, I soooo love making bunting, there's just something so happy about it, it makes me smile :) When I'm not crafting, I'm busy looking after my two boys, aged 11 and 8, plus our latest addition to the family, our bouncy dog Barney, which is like having another baby in the house again, he can be such hard work, but ofcourse we do adore him too!:)
Thanks for dropping by, please leave a comment, and ofcourse if you have a blog too, I'd love to hear about it.
Suzie xxxxxxx :)
