An early night, and few cakes too!!!
Hi everyone!
Yesterday, I decided it was time to take action (in my quest to loose some unwanted flab!) so went for a power walk, lol! Well, I walked fast and all up hill too! that's about as powerful as it gets, lol!
Later I again did the same walk (at a slower pace) to collect my kids from school. Well, I have to say, I think it did me the power of good, I felt pooped by 8pm and amazingly enough for me, went to bed at 8.30pm! Gosh! I'm normally such a night owl, but boy do I feel good this morning :) and better still, no late night snacking, hurray!!!!
Anyway, I thought you might like to take a peek at the all the cakes my son Zach who's nine made for his class cake sale. They hope to raise enough money to buy a class pet! They were each asked to bake ten cakes each, but Zach is sooo keen he made a just a few more, lol!

Good on you Suzie - keep up the power walking!
You have a master baker on your hands there!
Good that he's so keen. What are they getting as a pet?
Sue xx
Well done Suzie I am also trying to lose weight :) Wow Zach been very productive they do look yummy hugs alma x
Thanks Sue and Alma!
Yes, I must keep up all this walking and try not to dive into Zach's yummy cakes :)
Good luck with your weigh loss too Alma, it's soooo hard sometimes, but we can do it! :)
Sue, they've not yet decided what the class pet will be. Zach ofcourse wanted to choose a RAT! given the fact he got two for this birthday, yikes! But I have have to say, I've grown very fond of them both :) but I don't think the teacher was too keen, lol!
They each get to choose something and pop it down on the bit of paper and I think it's the one that gets the most votes.
I can just imagine some of the suggestions, lol!
Zach picked a guinea pig in the end, so we'll just have to wait and see what they get, and ofcourse how many cakes they sell to pay for it, lol!
Suzie xxxx :)
Yummmmmy cakes there Suzie! Well done Zach! It's not easy this losing weight business, in fact can be quite disheartening sometimes! You me and Alma can do it together!
A guinea pig or a rabbit would be a lovely idea for a school pet - actually, both of those would really need a friend as they are not solitary animals.
Glad you liked my tags - yes please put me down for the swap!

Hi Suzie
